New M821 & M1200 exhaust flaw????

any one else think that the new M821 and 1200 exhausts are rain water traps the end cap opens almost horizontally to the sky,, in a downpour especially when parked in the open could see you pride and joys exhaust system fill with water ,, which would be disaterous when starting ,, massive pressure overload = blown engine ????

maybe Im being paranoid as I really like these new models , rode a 1200 in UK a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed .
