Any advice on my options for the above - has anyone fitted the pipes that Moore Speed Racing
sell? What about the AS3 pipes on eBay - any feedback on these?

I want something that fits properly without buggering about! :gromit:

Links to the products you're talking about?

Which model year do you have?

What have you done, or plan to do, with the air intake and mufflers?

It is a 2005 model, so no lambda sensor.
I want to keep the standard cans - I like how they look! I do have a spare set of cans which I'm planning to dismantle and "core" at some time. The airbox and filter are standard.
What I am looking for is a bit more noise, but not so much that it will attract too much attention.

I will sort out the links to the above products - they are similar and fit in place of the "udder"
using all of the existing pies. :gromit:

Some of the midpipes/decat come with a hole for the sensor, so you'll need a plug for it - shouldn't be a problem to find one though.

Anything that fit will do, I suppose. Known brands who still make them are Marving and Spark.

Core AND open the airfilterbox will get you close to too lean, even on your EURO2 bike, but closed box and cored cans is fine. Just have the trim adjusted a little (half hour software work)

Yes, I bought the Moore Speed decat pipes last year (for '05 S2R 800).

They were made to order so take a week or two.

With good customer service - questions answered etc.

Quality is good.

Fitting was a doddle, straight swap, no mods required.

Sound wise on std. cans is okay, bit louder, nothing remarkable, not sure about power gains.

Looks/style was main reason to install and 100% meets expectations.

I replace cheap carbon-wrapped can with std. and sound is similar without the cat.

I also plan to core a set of std. cans for full sound effect and weight loss.

But certainly no probs with MSR.
