its the heat shield not the end can,
the paint was seriously a bitch to get off. I had to us a fine file on some of it, then 7 different grades of wet and dry.
just have to wait for the skin on my finger tips to heal before I do anymore.

I realised after I posted, a real good job, and I wish I had the patience I don't even possess wet and dry!
