how do I adapt harley straight through exhausts for my M600? My dad thinks his YZF600R is louder than my shouty Ducati and I cant let him think that...

It's not about "My bike is louder than your's" as a loud il4 is painful on the ears and irritates the listener, where as the loud but mellow deep tones of a twin can calm and sooth even a baby :-)

I had a set of cored standard cans (well they weren't standard after I'd cored them?), very loud and had the HD guys looking over in disbelief! Too much for me though, so I wimped out and put quieter cans on. Currently monsterless but on 600 jap IL4, have to say, over 10000RPM just ****ing glorious! Pops and bangs nicely on the overrun too.

Conti exhaust. By far the best sounding on aircooled monsters.

Conti, meh! Shotgun Kawasaki exhausts sounds by far the best :p

As soon as I sort my leaky forks out I'll show him which is better - simply by showing him the ducati badge :)
