I know its not mine anymore but I am sad to see it now. Up for sale again and looking not so nice imho. Gone is the flip paint. No nice seat replaced badly very badly with a cover. Apparently the last owner did loads of work on it.
Oh its got s4r wheels too. No actually one s4 one and a multistroodle rear.
Oh it has an s4r brakes. No s4 brakes really
Oh it has s4r gearbox. No s4 actually
Performance upgrades .... standard brakes mate. Immobiliser standard too.
Extra features.... seat cover and solo seat. Really...

The devil, as always, is in the detail, he's been stomping around a bit here I think

Oh I loved the general ads wording, all kind of close but not totally there, most amusing is the infamy of this bike FOR THE DUCATI MONSTER THAT HAS ATTENDED THE MOST DUCATI RALLIES IN THE WORLD!!.

Yes it attended mob 405 but where else it been.. I guess later s4r had radial brakes but not this one. Brake levers look like the ones I had powder coated. I may be wrong though. Hmm yes brake cable adjustment . Nice brake reservoir sock makes the difference.

Send him a message and point out the errors included in his story. It will be interesting to see if it then changes!

I also enjoyed reading the “most rallies… in the world” in my best Clarkson voice.

Just hope someone isn’t duped into buying the bike based on fuzzy information. To be fair, it sounds like he may be a trader so he could have been given all that info by the previous seller? Poor ebay ads wind me up almost as much as stupid offers :banghead:

Albie,
Get on ebay and just list out the corrections. Better for the seller and better for the buyer
