For those who missed the previous "TV Bracket" thread, I managed to purchase the Ram Italia Carbon Sub Frame and get it into the house under the guise of a new TV Bracket - I think it worked, no flack yet!

Massive effort by HM Racing to get ready for my trip to the TT (today) many thanks to Tony, Perry, Dave and Jordan, top job.

I'm just about to leave for Liverpool, so this is a quick post. Mods include, sub frame, BST Wheels, Maxton GP30 forks (class!) RCS Master Cylinders (brilliant) Rizoma bits, CNC triple clamp, DucaBike Clear Clutch cover, and various other bits and pieces. Cosmetically its still a work in progress, bodywork and exhaust are next (over winter) Thanks also to Cobra for the info on the very small baffles, they are perfect!

Overall impression of the upgrades so far - astonishing! I'll update after having done more miles.

Good job this bike isn't black or I could easily go blind looking at the pics. :look:

Looking good

That clutch cover. How long you had it on? Does it show dirty oil or does it actually look good when running?

I was thinking of doing this a while ago.

Wow, looks like a completely different bike. The bracket and wheels are stunning!

Did you get round to actually buying a flash new TV bracket in the end? :)

Looks brilliant.
Any idea on how much weight you have saved with the TV bracket and the wheels?

I hate it loads..... No that's a lie.... I hate you loads cos its gorgeous. Stay safe on the Island. Get yourself a nice cream tea on the side road from the Bungalow bottom of twisty road and just into the woods. You might get lucky with a Norton turn up.

Thanks chaps - accidents and atrocious weather meant I had to get a wiggle on toward the end of the journey as I was in danger of missing the ferry - the bike is absolutely stunning to ride, you know when you hit the sweet spot, well I hit it today! Jonzi - clutch has stayed clean so far, it did cloud over once but I've not seen it again. Tony said one side of the stock subframe was 5.6kg the new one is 1.4kg and the wheels are so light I cant think of a way of describing them! Dirty, I think the other half may have forgotten about it- result:-)

Camron is doing his absolute best to muscle the bike around, but its not having any of it, it looked a real handful. Have to say it also looked a little short on grunt as well, best sounding bike though!

Lots of people very subdued after the race, it was a while after before they confirmed it, but we new it wasn't good when the timing app on the ipad wasn't showing him on the last lap, so so sad. A local rider (not competitor) also died in a RTA just before the race which delayed the start for a couple of hours. Grim stuff:thumbsdown:
