I'm sure this must have been asked before, but I can't for the life of me find anything.
Has anyone any personal experience with the ebay plastics kits for the 696, 796 and 1100's?:

They seem to get decent feedback and after a bad experience buying a second hand kit recently on e.bay I'm tempted.
£295 delivered, so less that 1/2 price of genuine

By the way, if the corse kit in Ireland comes back up for sale avoid, the seller is not a very nice bloke and the rhs tank panel has been resprayed (thankfully paypal have upheld my claim, so it's going back)

I have some eBay plastics for a 749 that I bought from eBay, albeit used. I'm not sure if they are Chinese but I would imagine so!

I'm happy to use as track fairings. If you are a perfectionist they may not fit as well as oem, but then again, Ducati (read termis, dp carbon etc) are notorious for not being as well finished as the competition anyway!).

If you just fancy a change, I don't see why not. Personally, I would keep the original parts for when you sell the bike though.

Looking again, maybe the red looks a little darker than the real corse kit? Hard to tell from photos...

For £295 you cant go wrong.
I have a set myself but just plain pearl white and they are good quality, paint maybe a little thin and the plastics are a little bit thicker so can be a pain to install.
Im seriously considering another set now!.

Think I will go for it, one of the listings look dark but another looks light, so I might take the risk as soon as I get my refund, might even get some cash back selling the hungers and middle tank bits.
I'll stick a pic up if and when I do get them.

It seems they are Chinese, I'd be wary myself.
