Hi all, could anyone tell me the easiest way to check the chain tension, and how to check the chain after its been tensioned. Thanks.

There should be a sticker on the swingarm showing the right amount of up down play when the bike is on it's sidestand (I think it is around 32 or 35 mm from memory but do check)

I used a short piece of dowel with one end on the floor with it held nearly vertical (allowing for the angle of the bike on the sidestand). I put two zip-ties the appropriate distance apart on the dowel & offered it up to the measuring point on the swingarm. You can then check the chain moves between the two tie- wraps really easily.

Rotate the rear wheel in the direction of normal travel (anticlockwise from lh side) until you find the tightest point on th lower run halfway between sprockets. You should have approx 25mm play. As BRD says, there's a sticker with instruction just there.
