Just a quick snap of my two new pride and joys... the 1200s that arrived earlier this week, and the M900 that go picked up and ridden home today.

Been thinking about an older Monster for sometime now, still miss the 695, and the S4Rs as well. Whilst waiting for the 1200s to arrive I got to looking around and settled on the idea of a bog standard older M900 (To me the original Monster). Some of you may well recognise the 900, particularly the Hampshire and Wiltshire lot :)

Over the next year or so my plan is to slowly tinker, clean and restore (Although I feel restore is too harsh a word, as the bike is fantastic example) to replace older worn standard with original parts looking as good as new... it also gives Rhona something to ride now and again... maybe... perhaps...

Love them both to bits already, I'm not sure yet which one will get the most money spent on her!

Some proper pics to follow in the future to track changes, but for now was just eager to get them both together... and for the purists we threw in a obligatory wheelie bin shot... complete with UKMOC mug!

Nice one Jim and was glad you did the deed on the M900. Had I known prior I think I would have been tempted myself but I never saw him selling tbh. I am also a lover of the original bike whoever thinks that we sometimes have to evolve but my heart lies in its origin as well. You could have put the mug where it belongs on the tea tray as that is something the new bikes cannot do. Enjoy them both mate and take your time along the way. Looking forward to seeing the 1200S change for the new parts when available to change the health and safety look.

Garage floor needs repainting :)

Nice bikes, matching colours too.

Is that a special fork mount for the gopro?

Only renting at the mo so the man cave isn't up to my usual standards, but rest assured I have nice plans for when we buy next year!

Just used the roll bar mounting kit... Seems resilient enough so long as it's not over tightened which I think a lot of people did which is why it had complaints of snapping.

Cheers Albie... Think the spending has only just begun! :)

And Geoff, credit goes to Rhona, she sorted it out whilst I was out yesterday... Although moving anything in my cave is a deadly risk as it's only a temporary man cave I let it slide this time ;)

I'll be worried the fender touches the gopro mounting on hard braking Jim

The case is flipped down and loose, the camera wasn't in it (only pushed it out the garage to take a quick pic) but yes I might just double check the clearance next time it's set up properly, just to be safe!!!
