Hi,

I have decided to sell my M1100S after quite a bit of thought.

So I'll offer it here first as I'd like it be appreciated by someone who knows the Monster bikes.

The bike is taxed and MO'd till the end of May, passing the MOT won't be a problem, the bike is in near mint cosmetically and mechanically.

I have changed the oil myself at 1,000 miles, 3,000 miles and the last change was before the winter storage at 5,200 miles. No corrosion at all, bike kept in garage with a dehumidifier next to it.It has a reusable stainless steel oil filter so you can easily change the oil as much as you like and inspect the contents of the filter.

Belts were changed last May when I bought the bike from Thunder Road Motorcycles in Bridgend.

The bike is pretty much standard except for the titanium Termis, and a set of rearsets with pillion footrest attachments.
The buyer will get the original exhausts and the original foot rests etc - all mint condition.

Bike has done 5,800 miles.

Will need servicing at 7,500 miles - but this is just the valve check service, rear tyre has about 1,500 miles left in it and has squared off a little.

Given that the bike will want a service and a rear tyre in the near future I have valued it accordingly. I know what sort of price I can get in part ex, so I'm asking £5300 with the Termis. I bought the Termis off a seller on this forum recently - they are approx £1250 new .

I can send any photos on request etc, just pm me.

Thinking more of the Multistrada at the moment.

I bought another bike for touring, 2001 Triumphy Trophy 1200, bit of a beast, but quite enjoyable though not so exciting.

The Multi would be a good compromise.

I can't believe this hasn't been snapped up yet, it's a bargain! I think you are under selling it by a grand Denis.

Wow, thats a cheap bike. Somebody should grab this!
I was offered more for part ex from a dealer and mine has 10,000 miles

Yes, it is a bargain.

I'd rather sell privately than to the dealer to be honest. Its a very good condition bike that will sell in the dealers showroom for at least £6250.

The dealer will make a very easy £1000 profit from putting it in his showroom.

I don't mind waiting a bit, but would prefer to sell on here to someone who loves Ducati's

Failing that a wider audience on a well known auction site soon.

Can't believe such a nice sounding bike with termi's hasn't been snapped up yet. Hopefully someone will bite your hand off soon

Cheers

Having already bought two bikes this year I think even I would struggle justifying this one no matter how much I would love a third in the garage... But agree with previous posts someone is destined for an absolute bargain on a superb bike...

It is a lovely and well maintained bike but I believe the termis are for sale separately? http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=49474

Think your right dirty. But I think the original ad had them on the bike but now it's for sale in standard form:)

Open to offers with the termis or without really.

If someone makes me a reasonable offer I'm sure a deal can be done one way or another.
