Just a quick hello to say that after quite a few years off the monster scene I'm back in it, but only as a monster owner.

Having trashed my S4 around 10 years ago at Donington today I finally have it finished and ready for the road bar the insurnace and road tax.

Only thing is I think I'm going to have to change the pipes as they are seriously loud !

Looking forward to catching up with some other monster owners on the occasional run !!

Erm it is orange and I like it. Those pipes are not loud enough I can guarantee you. You will get used to it (IE get deff-er :D).

Were all bloody slipping out if the woodwork eh. ?! Doesn't seen 5 minutes since that fateful day in donny mate - lots of dramas that day including me nearly high siding my mates 998s after my track bike spat it's dummy out !!

Good to see you posting again mate - bike looks great

Fancy a day trip to Wiltshire for the monster weekend in May?

You might win a trophy for the S4

Another great example of how the monster lends itself to customisation, you have done a really really nice job of that, I love the seat cowl in particular.

Real nice bike Stu. What are those upper air scoops for and where did you get them? Like the belt covers too!

His old catalogue no doubt!!

Good to see you back Stu and agree with the others- the bike looks great!!

I still have most of the parts I bought from you on my old 900- are they still under guarantee??

Seat cover, headlight and those upper scoops look like road racing parts (or replicas).

I have a pair of those scoops but they would need painting as when I got them they looked like bike was stored outside ......

Glad you like it. Here's a few more pics.

Can't wait to give it a run but as the only thing original is the frame and part of the wiring loom it's taking a little while to sort some insurance out !

Forgot to highlight the personal touch : the brackets holding the front brake and clutch master cylinders, look close and you'll see the blue titanium brackets straight out of my shoulder left after the 4 operations put things back together.

I've left these the original colour as they came out which is why the blue colour doesn't match the rest of the bike but probably the most original parts on the bike!

Love it......

Didn't you lend your Monster to a stunt rider at Mallory Park in 2003 I think it was ?

I'd be interested to know where you get that insurance from, I'm really struggling to find anyone to insure mine.
