Fitted a later Brembo master to the SS and have a new disc but still don't have the bite I would like from the brake. Good pressure on lever and works ok but lacks initial bite.
So next step better pads (not changed yet) what pads do people recommend for aggressive braking (track days). Not worried about making discs or pads last as not used often but would like to know they are going to pull the bike up as fast as poss.

I used Performance Friction on my DD bikes, as do many others. No complaints from me or the guys on my bikes. They are a bit too aggressive on the road though.

Cheers Gilps I will seek some out. Will swap back to old ones for road use if need to as only a five min job.(still single disc)

Performance Friction are probably best, followed by Carbon Lorraine and Bendix. Avoid EBC for track use.
