It'll be fine.

Excellent stuff- love it!!!

Will that get through noise testing at CC?

I want to take my little racer down there but was unsure whether it would pass or not.

Do they run open pit days there or only part of track days do You know?

Yay, a Ducati to race instead of a screamer.
Well, eventually anyway.
You could almost call that a monster even. :running:
I can just imagine your grin as you set off down the glencrutchery road.

Best of luck with the season.
Will try and catch a race sometime/somewhere. ....(Ireland with any luck).

Thanks guys, yes a few late nights ahead. Well she's in pieces now and mostly in a set of drawers in the garage.

The cans have DB killers (not required on the IoM) and I'll have to pop over and get the 888 tested prior to booking. Don't think they do open pit which would be nice for a test day.

Nice, always had a soft spot for the 888. If it's in Louigi & Chris's hands it'll be sorted when it's done.

Shouldn't it read - 38 D cup?

[QUOTE=Nickj;481389]That's a bit close to celery Stafford ;)

That's no coincidence,as it's all I'm allowed to eat between now & The Manx, for two reasons.
1. Stafford is throwing so many lightweight goodies at it.

2. John McGuinness is,as he claims,40,fat & still fast as feck, whereas I'm only the first two,and Stafford thinks the last two are directly related.

So as he's giving me such a lovely bike,I'll do whatever he says.

Anyone know any good celery recipes?

Bike is looking lovely in the nervous calm of the queue for scrutineering.

I do like the look of the TZ/TD3(?) hiding behind it by the wall though- wonder if it is one of the CRMC chaps racing it?

Just read that the first practice session was suspended due to a lack of Marshalls for the course.

Read all about it.....

http://www.iomtt.com/Classic-TT/News/2014/August/16/First-Practice-Cancelled.aspx

Same as all UK racing pretty much all levels from Club to GP, without the Marshalls (who are basically volunteers- they get a few quid expenses) along with all the other un-paid hero's and heroines (Timekeepers etc.) there is no racing simple as that!

Hi all

It was Saturday practice that was cancelled, tonight's went ahead.

Sadly my practice was cut short as slipper clutch was playing up,just 3 miles into the circuit. I was brought back by a very kind gent, and am not long home after lifting the bike.

Fingers crossed will be an fix and we'll be ready to go tomorrow.

I think you can listen to coverage via internet at Manx radio. You can also check iomtt.com

Yep, absolutely brilliant job Stuart, and the crew.......:woot:
Sterling work from the start of the project to the finishing line, with a brand new, unproven bike.
Very impressive indeed......:hail:
I'm very much wishing that I could have been there to see it.
But....plans are already hatching to do just that next year.

And, without wishing to bask (too much) in reflected glory.....I'm now feeling childishly and ridiculously chuffed that one very, very tiny component on the bike, which was born on my little lathe, has actually completed a race at the Isle of Man.
So just wanted to say thanks for that.
