I have found that my engine revs are slow to return 1000 rpm ,when changing down gears.Almost like the throttle is sticking, but being an injected 900ie (2002) I think it could be tps or low rev fueling. Any Ideas ??
I wondered if reducing the air bleed might help ??
It has become worse since I had the bike serviced and the mechanic returned the throttle stop screw to factory setting( he told me it should not be moved from the yellow painted position )and to be fair to him it holds idle much better now, maybe someone has masked a problem by adjusting the throttle stop.
In the past I have always worked on my own bikes,I am a maintenance engineer with forty years experience, but to be honest,I'm fed up of working on machinery,I do it every day,so I thought "Ducati trained mechanic" let him do it. On reflection, Looks like I better "suss out this injection "
Any guidance gratefully received.
