Any one fancy a ride out some where on Sunday?

Maybe London to Snetterton to have a watch of No Limits racing?

Ooh an hour on the M11, sounds like fun ;-)

jonzi

Now I might be wrong, but I think there are other roads to Norwich.

Dunno

I just saw it on this (http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=74&t=1392357&i=20&mid=0&nmt=It%27s+the+weekend+who+is+doing+bikey+things%3 F%3F%3F%3F)thread and thought it looked good

They say about 600-700

Plus getting there and back I would assume

jonzi
28-03-2014, 11:08 AM
You up for it JP?

Stick Bex on the back, she can wave directions

Doesn't the Strada have a desk on the back? They are big enough.

slob
28-03-2014, 11:35 AM
yes but he mislaid the desk somewhere between a gas station and an amusingly named Irish bar in Luxembourg a couple of years back ;-D

Grammatical Police, favour.... not favor. You isn't American.

slob
28-03-2014, 11:41 AM
maybe it's the Spanish that someone's fluentish in...

bex
28-03-2014, 11:50 AM
Its actually the forum dodgy spell checker which informed me that favour was incorrect and underlined it to tell me so.....at which point I made a face and changed it, whilst remaining sceptical. I now know I was correct.

(It also thinks its skeptical and not sceptical... it appears it's checking US spelling Il Pres?)

bex

It also appears that this is all due do my dodgy Firefox settings, solved.

J.P

Yes. Please formulate a plan that includes croissants and coffee.

bex
28-03-2014, 01:51 PM
He doesn't need a pass from me.

I'd drop him like a hot potato for a weekend biking, and I take potatoes seriously.

Wait, did I say that out loud? ;-)

What a delightful spontaneous trip you have going there. But slob, don't forget to allocate some time this weekend to laying down the red carpet for my return.

I thank you.

Booked outbound on 9:20 and back on 17:20
Blackwall tunnel is shut until 8am Sunday mornings, so we need time to detour.
See you at 6am at the Esso station and leave at 6:15
We'll meet J.P at Folkestone
I think you only need spare bulbs, first-aid kit and triangle only apply to cars and the French couldn't make their minds up about breathalysers or hi-vis.
Oh and your documents: license, V5 & insurance.

Anyone else want to play?

Oh, and while I was riding back into London through the traffic, my bike decided that anything above 4,000 rpm would set the ECU off and cut the ignition with the limiter cutting in meaning I could only do 20 mph while juddering along. Happened a few times then after turning off and back on seemed to clear itself.
