No Nipple

Eagle eyed will spot the lack of bleed nipple - I want to bleed the clutch and don't know how to. I've bought a replacement from Ducati (89p!), however it looks too small for the banjo fitment.

Any ideas why this has been fitted - it's and ex Challenge bike if that makes any difference.
