got these silly rubber tubes from even sillier remote reservoirs on the brake and clutch levers (why weren't the reservoirs part of the lever perch like they used to be ????)

anyways ducati's ultra high quality steel clips have started to rust, anybody know of a supplier who can supply stainless clips to replace the original ferrous oxide components

I took them off mine and wire-locked them on.

Are they the same size as the clips on the fuel lines ?
They're fairly neat......and stainless.
They can be a bit of a pig to get off again until you get the knack, but I've re-used mine quite a few times now.

I think they'll be smaller than the fuel lines. Replacements are available fairly cheaply but alas not stainless as far as I can see.

Yep, that's what I have done with lots of the little clips and retainers around the bike (brake pin 'R' clips etc.)- most are only there to make things easier for the techs when you take it to a dealer so if you do the work yourself they look better and are far more reliable in my opinion.

You'll be needing something like this to do it properly:

Unfortunately the seller is unable to accept any questions about the item! Sounds a bit dodgy to me, but for 3-4 quid I might take a punt and let you know what they are like, but otherwise lockwire is another abeit rather drastic overkill approach imho but would work ok.

I've ordered a couple of the 6mm ones, so will see what they are like.
