Probably been asked for millions of times, Anyone got an old friction plate kicking around two would be great but one should do the trick.

I shall refrain from Blaspheming, you know what I want it for ;)

I probably have some steel ones kicking around, I upgraded to an alloy basket and plate set on mine, with a slipper clutch but I think I kept the old steel ones. They were still in spec with regards to friction material but a little tanged on the tabs but usuable I think. Should I have a look in the loft?

Sorry those 3 words in the middle don't make any sense. Some sort of strange foreign language I guess? :(

If I had a dry clutch I wouldn't mind but as I'm stuck wet it just feels wrong

But no, I'm retiring the pitchfork. Society has moved on from mob rule and burning at the stake. You do what you like. In fact there are some nice men in white coats coming to help you, they have a magic jacket for you to wear and a lovely soft room with no view

Bloody Email, sorry Darren. I have now. You mentioned they were not compatible with an alloy basket :(
I understand fitting steel plates would do more harm than good. Or are you going to tell me you found an alloy plate yes yes yes......
Appreciate you looking for me regardless of the outcome.

Yes, I only have the steel type friction plates which are not really suitable if you have an alloy basket. They would likely damage it much quicker so I wouldn't recommend tehem. If you have a steel basket then should be fine. I'll pop a couple in an envelope and get a postage cost, will be later next week now.
