I've been told I need to safety-wire the oil plug and filter. The plug I can manage, but what is the approved way of wiring the filter?

put a jubilee clip round it, put the wire under it, do it up tight ( dont crush the filter ;) )

there you go.....:D

jubilee clip = band of metal with small cuts in it and a screw thing on the side of it. Bit like an exhaust clamp or petrol pipe clamp
