Good! We are lucky to have a flexible justice system in this country and when you consider the inflexibility of speed camera fines/points it's no surprise that in many cases a ban is not felt by the court to be in the best interests of justice.

Incidentally I notice a lot of those people were charged with 'failing to declare the driver of the vehicle'. A charge that flies against the right to silence, the presumption of innocence and right against self incrimination. A special case has been made for motorists in this instance, rights first muted in the Magna Carta and substantiated over 100s of years of common law, removed as the driving licence was considered by the EC to be a privilege granted. Oops, rant alert!!
