View Full Version : Time for a New Helmet
Tried to get a new helmet at the excel show last year but they did not have my size anyway glad now that they didn't as I just bought an xLite 802r Carbon Checa, apparently only 99 allocated to the UK so there won't be too many awkward moments when I rock up wearing the same helmet
Got to wait a couple of weeks for it but the weather is not making me want to go and ride so no issue

I read some where that the govt are going to ban google glass whilst driving (if they actually take off and become popular). I assume that something like this would be similar no?

We will see when and if it happens.
It is a intelligent HUD on the same level as garmin HUD GPS for cars and that is not illegal and is in front of driver with directions?

I have seen the "analog" version with the mirror system (not sure if is the same brand) and is dreadful and riddled with possible faults.

Typical Harley rider, doesn't consider engine noise to be soulful and has no idea where he is going ;):D

Most of the time I have no idea where I am going as that is when/how I have fun. On those few occasions I want to know skully. Also Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, The Who or Muse are just few bands that I think overall make better noise then termis alone. Especially at speeds 50+
