My Dad's MG needs some sills..

My ol' Mini needed some sills just before it's MOT (we're talking some years back here).

Couldn't afford a proper repair as I was a broke student (spent too much on cider - it was only 90 pence a pint!) so I got out the P40 glass fibre, bodged it up and covered it in a nice fresh coat of underseal....

Needless to say it didn't take the MOT inspector too long to punch his screwdriver through it..! :mad:

I once 'repaired' my Volvo sills with filler and cellulose putty and then smoothrite. When I got it back with an MOT the putty was still wet!
