Ever used mo-clean?

Hi All

has anyone used this "professional bike washing service"?

If anyone here has used them/heard of them any good/bad stories would be much appreciated. There is a monster in the before/after pic, so don't be shy..

In the meantime i am sending a mate with a triumph first to test them before considering sending my beloved :mand:

yes I did a couple of months ago on my Multistrada & Monster.
Mo came along did a great job and was very chatty, especially about his Bike Touring business in Turkey.
Makes all his own Chemicals and the hi-pressure Boiling water wash was very good.
I did though have to keep a very close eye on the work experience lackie doing some of the work to make sure he got all the niggly bits cleaned.

Expensive but the bikes looked brand new after being done.

Clean your bike yourselves you two lazy b! ;) as you're more likely to spot/prevent problems.

I was thinking of organizing something with Jon from this place http://www.allyearbiker.co.uk/

If there is enough people he will come some where and clean the bikes and then ACF50 it for the winter.

any takers? Would be in Uxbridge, West London.

This guy sounds better than most, but normally I wouldn't let anyone near my bike to clean it, as its easy enough to get it clean, but doing that without doing any damage through aggressive solvents and/or too much elbow grease is another matter.
I would certainly never entrust it to the local, eastern european vehicle cleaners.
Also, as Max says, its a good opportunity to spot other maintenance issues.

re. the ACF50 thing, I think this has been organised in previous years, by Mrs C772 if memory serves. Maybe it'll happen again this year ?
