Rear Sprocket for a 696

Looking at my 696, the rear sprocket always annoys me. its pretty agricultural looking compared to the rest of the bike. what annoys me is that it doesn't clean up very well. apart from polishing it, has anyone replaced this an aftermarket sprocket.
