1999 600 engine in 1995 bike

After causing irreparable damage to my existing engine, I need a replacement. I have been offered a 99 engine and was wondering if it would fit into my 1995 monster. If the answer is yes is there anything else that needs changing. Carbs, electrics etc.

Any help greatly appreciated.

ring your insurer they will tell you not much i wouldn,t
engine£400 or engine fitted £500 plus filter oil etc
