I put new belts on my recently acquired 600 today and I found that the existing horizontal bety was way too tight. I struggled to get a 2mm key past the roller!
I reckon it will take me half an hour next time I do it.
A little tip for other newbies......
There are convenient recesses in the castings beneath the adjusters that allow a screwdriver to be inserted into the slot on the adjuster to help gently lever the adjuster to the required position.
Took it for a good test ride and it hasn`t blown up so I guess I got it right:mand:

Can`t wait for the cans to arrive now, and the baglux tank cover I bought yesterday.

You can also put a screw down through the hole in the cases which line up with those convenient recesses to lock the cam in position

The WileyCo cans were fitted last night and she sound luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrvly:cool:
I will be keeping the revs very low through built up areas though.
