Monster 900 Exhausts

I have bought a pair of Micron Race pipes for my 93 Monster 900 I bought them from a guy who said they didn't fit his 2001 900 and thought they were for a 93.
Unfortunately I didn't get around to fitting them for a while and found that they don't fit my bike either . I seems that the brackets are too far back. The cans are stamped PCD 02 - LH & PCD 02 - RH. (obviously left and right) is there another model in between?

I would like to sell the pipes but don't want anyone to have the same issue. Any Ideas?

Try switching the brackets , I bought a pair of carbon DP cans off someone on ebay that said his cans didnt fit his 2000 monster , when i got them i had a look and the brackets were the wrong way round ! Switched them both and they fit perfect ! Bargain price too , lol

I will give it a try. I assumed that they were correct as they have L on the left and R on the right.
