View Full Version : Hot arse
I have 2.5k miles up on my Evo now and this is the only gripe I have with it; on warm days the seat gets very hot. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a cure?

Nope, S4R doesn't do that, nor the M750. Perhaps you have the wrong bike....

I have heard that gel seats get very hot....Maybe you have one of those?
Just the standard seat fitted, nothing special.
I've owned an S4RS in the past and never had any issues with it and its some lump of an engine!

I have not noticed the seat on my evo getting particuarly hot. The underseat area on the evo is a lot cooler than the same area on the 1100 due to the routing of the exhaust. I could toast a panini under the seat of my 1100, can't do that on the evo :(

As an alternative to curry errrr boost you might want to consider NOS.

If changing your diet to NOS I'd recommend asbestos boxers!

My thighs get hot after I've been riding for a while.
Too much sharing?
Aha, so I'm not alone. I was starting to get worried there!
Any more roasted evo owners out there?

Nope. Certainly not my arse. Inside of right leg on a hot day at the lights, but never had a hot arse.

Hot bum and right leg on an 1100s with carbon Termis on hot days in traffic, fine on the open road though.

Visit Lambland website (no, it isn`t a Welsh theme-park!) and get yourself a nice fleece seat pad. Go for the natural colour unless you always wear black kegs. Helps keep Uranus comfortable.

I looked it up seriously expecting the porn filters to be blocking it, but no! It's for real!
