Track day - Bedford Autodrome - Fri 23/08 - £89

I've just spoken to them and they say there is quite a lot of availability in all rider groups. I'll be going in the novice group as it's going to be my first track day :idea: Apparently it's quite a good circuit for the Monsters with some nice twisty bits and not too many long straights. It should take 30 / 40 minutes to get there from Milton Keynes too :) I will have to disappear at lunchtime.

So, who's up for it? For £89 I think it's quite a good deal.

Bedford has a long straight similar to the M1. The track is easy to learn and flat however you unload in the morning in pit area, and park in the car park, a five minite walk back. assuming your going with van or trailer, shuttle bus to briefing, but the worst bit is that you can not bring you van/car back to the pits until 5pm. Then it's a scramble to load with everyone else.

Saying that I enjoyed the day, i found that even the lightest rain makes the track very slippery and it can be wet/damp just in one section also.

I'm going to ride there on my bike and will need to leave around lunchtime - I phoned the guys and they said it's ok & someone will let me out.

101db is quite a strict limit - mine won't pass that even with the baffles in.

Yep that should be fine then, we packed up with one session left and then found out we couldn't get the van in until 5pm!

Well work has p'd on this one for me and there's no way I can make it now... Everyone who's interested though keep posting in here and see how many can get together for it!!
