Hi

I had fitted a tail tidy and didn't allow enough clearance for the rear light lens. Stopped for a coffee whilst out today and noticed the rear lens has cracked.

Don't know the cost of a replacement, but I suppose its in the region of £25.

As an alternative, whilst I have the tail tidy apart to fix, has anyone fitted an integrated lens unit where you can remove the rear indicators?

Seen some vids on You Tube and the leds look much brighter.

Can find the led integrated version for £65 at DucatiMondo.

I wouldn't do that.
There isn't enough separation between the amber lights in an integrated lens, and they seem to be hard to spot anyway.
Not sure that they're legal either for that matter, unless maybe you retain the stalked indicators as well.
I was following Dukedesmo yesterday, and he has one of those, as well as small indicator lenses integrated into his teatray, about 5 inches apart.
Even with both together, it was still hard to make out which way he was turning most of the time, or even whether anything at all was flashing if the ambient light was wrong.
I think you'd be leaving yourself open to a rear end shunt.

ps ...Tim, I meant to mention that to you, but it was a bit more sudden than I was expecting when we parted at the lights in Melton.

Thanks, does look a little close on the vids, and might be confusing.

Easier to buy a standards lens I suppose.
