Was just wondering if anybody on here might find this of interest...they'll have a M696+ there too. I might go just to try out the Hyperstrada.

"WOODS MOTORCYCLES
Ducati UK Stradatour (Jun 15)

Touring on a Ducati for many would be a dream adventure, and now with the the Strada range of Ducati motorcycles, that dream is now easier than ever to fulfil. The Strada concept began with the Multistrada and has now been expanded this year with the new additions of the Hyperstrada and the Diavel Strada.

The Stradatour is an evolution of the popular Ducati Roadshow that has run over the last 3 years covering the length and breadth of the UK. This year the Stradatour comes to Woods Motorcycles on Saurday June 15th 2013 and will feature extended rides up to a maximum of one and half hours.

These approxiamtely 1.5 hour test rides will give you an extensive period of time to evaluate the bikes touring and long distance appeal. Riders will be guided on a route, taking in a variety of roads to fully test the bikes touring capabilities and also give pillion riders the chance to assess the comfort of these machines.

There will be a display truck containing a Monster 696+ (with a low seat) and an 1199 Panigale ABS and most importantly, 9+ machines available for group accompanied ride-outs including:

•2x Multistrada 1200S Touring
•2x Multistrada 1200S Gran Tourismo
•3x Hyperstrada
•2x Diavel Strada
•1x Diavel

The first test ride should leave the shop at 9am, with the final one around 4pm. Participation is at the discretion of the Stradatour staff, you MUST produce your full UK driving license (both parts if it's a photocard), sign an indemnity form and also provide a credit/debit card so a £1000 crash damage deposit can be held, this is fully returnable on completion of an uneventful ride! Pillions can be accomodated but must be notified in advance to make sure they also fill out the necessary indemnity paperwork.

All riders must attend a pre-ride briefing before being allowed out on the machines, this will include familiarisation of the motorcycle's controls and an indication of what sort of behaviour is expected on the ride.

Please contact our sales dept on 01745 822922 in advance to indicate your interest in taking part in one of the ride-outs so we can organise the day accordingly!"
