98 dB I need to check. It hard to know with the wasp, its more pitchy and annoying than loud...I think.

There is an app (of course) that you can use but it is poop.

Might give a ball park figure.

You need something that has got the correct frequency weighting. (Usually 'A')

This explains the weightings.

The mic in an iphone will probably not do.

Probably just as hard as it's in somerset.
