Mysterious switch - clutch lever...

Obviously I know what the brake lever one does but the clutch?

Anyone know or have any plausible ideas off-hand without cheating and resorting to Google or the wiring diagrams?

I am pretty sure it isn't ECU related... or am I?

Starts fine without the clutch in (unlike my car)... so either it is not that or it is broken. :)

Of course! It allows the engine to start even in gear with the clutch in... cheers Rob (..and damien as I now realise that is what you were getting at!)
