I'm off to the NW200 this week, arriving in the Portrush area on Wednesday.
Who else is going?

We could meet up for a brew and chat.

Have a great time !!!
That's where alot of my family came from ,
And Coleraine ... Enjoy :) :)
I must come out one year see the racing and seeing as I've not been there for many years would be nice to see where my family lived .

I'll bear that in mind when I'm at the TT and the Manx.

Would really like to do the nw200 followed with a little look around after, I think Ireland and the Irish people are great, cant make the TT this time (money) but do have the Manx to look forward to will be there for 1 week.

I soooo nearly went this year, but funds didn't allow in the end.
Would've gone earlier and caught the Cookstown too, which looks to be an awesome little circuit from the tv coverage....just like a thrash down the local country lanes really.
Possibly the most real racing on the planet, and definitely on my list on a permanent basis.
I still hope to get over to see some of the races later in the season.

Cookstown coverage was on BBC N.I. last night ...definitely worth a look on catch-up if you missed it.

Got it recorded to watch later as being there you just don't get to see all that goes on.
Racing in country lanes, bonkers. :freak:

Yeah, you can just imagine how it started, can't you ? ......
"Ok lads, we'll start at the post office, then its down the back lane past Frank and Seamus' place, left at the fork, down past the monument to the virgin Mary, through the wooded bit, over the stream, through the twisty bits by the dairy (careful at milking time and mind the dirt on the road), then left again, past Shaunessy's bar and back up to the village."
Magic.
