This is a bit of a guess but if no-one else answers I'd try 1.5 to 1.75 turns out as a starting point

They don't quote a base setting in manuals

Adjustments are made while taking CO readings from exhaust

Thanks slob that gives me a base setting to get it running .the only manual I have is the Haynes one and it says to take it to a dealer !! Which ain't going to happen .

From experience with quite a few M600 models I have found that two and a quarter turns from the closed position will get you close to where you want to be.

Just re-checked my 2001 600, fitted with stage 1 Dynojet kit 2.125 turns out on a 7k mile engine, also using a CO (pro) meter.

You must have a very well calibrated screwdriver hand ;)
