Mirror Glass ???

Hi, I was out today for a blast (*feckin cold still *)
Doing an indicated 110 so probs about 98 ish (Private road of course).
When the nearside mirror glass bailed....
anyone know how they fix or where they are available from..

The original mirrors are known for this!
Best to buy a new mirror, then trying to find the correct glass and fitting.

take a template to plinkington glass or similar and they can cut round the template circa £10 last time i got a tear drop shaped one done

and get them to grind the edges smooth

however, the reflection is definitely different, as in 'objects in the mirror may appear closer than they actually are

Hmmm... I chucked a mirror glass from a std mirror in the bin the other day

I'll have a look when I get home to see if it's still there and if it's still in one piece.
