Hello,
Picking up an S2R 1000 tomorrow morning.
06 plate in pretty near mint condition.
Just getting back into biking after a 5 year break.
Last two bikes were Dukes, 750ss and 749s.
Cant wait,shame about miserable weather:thumbsdown:
Looks like it will be a back of the van job.
Welcome to the Club.
You know plenty about the brand then and I hope the weather clears up soon so you can have some fun.

Welcome back to the fold Dave. Just stay off that Scrumpy, or else the Ducati pulses will give you a bigger headache!

Cheers Dave. I must update the picture as it has gone black for 2013. It was red for 2012 and white in 2011. It saves changing the bike! Lol

So, I have picked her up this morning from Riders Bridgwater and couldnt be happier.
Serviced with belts,12 months MOT and two new tyres.
I was only expecting the MOT so I am well chuffed!
Thanks to Gavin at Riders:thumbsup:
Cant stop grinning:biggrin:
I will post some pics later.

Welcome along.
I'm sure it'll soon be dry and warm enough for shorts and tee shirt (seems unimagineable just now though, eh ?).
Actually, I think that Ducatis are bought with the heart AND the head.
At least, monsters are.

Well, went for my first little run this afternoon as the sun was out(ish).
Still a bit chilly on the fingers though, but wow I have been grinning like an idiot since the ride.
What a great, fun bike!
Can not wait until we get some sun.
