Hello! I've not been around much lately, I've been trying to keeep my hands warm with my heated gloves so excuse me.

Anyway, no mention of a Tunnel Run for this year yet, isn't it that time of year soon?

Well unless you have a numberplate on the front of your bike I wouldn't worry. :)

No one likes early mornings.

I love early mornings, late nights. I like a forty hour week so much I try to do two of them every seven days.

Have you ridden round central London at 6am on a Sunday?

It's awe... wait for it... some!

I have a three year old, I can do early very mornings, plus I like to be in the pub by around 4 pm at the weekend.

I've been through the Hindhead tunnel, it's got good acoustics!

It does have 70mph average speed cameras, but they face forwards.

Good cafe nearby at the Devils Punch Bowl on the old A3.

Fully agree 4am London, especially Sunday is spooky and beautiful

Do it often and even took photos at one time.

No McD's for me, thanks!

I have considered extending the tunnels to include the A12 from Redbridge, its a matter of logistic's.

Its about time I came down for one of these.
The early start might be a bit iffy at the moment as it would be rather chilly setting off from leicester at 4.30am at this time of the year, but I guess it'll take a while to organise and it'll be warmer by then.
Apart from that, the early start sounds good to me as I could get across london to the rendezvous quite easily at that sort of time.
And I tend to keep funny hours anyway.

Any attempt to lead us in the direction of McPoison or come to think of it any words used that start with Mc should and will be considered worthy of at best a public stoning, more fittingly such flagrant disregard for health and well-being of fellow riders can only end at the Tyburn tree

Ha ha that was great fun! Thanks for organising it. Looking forward to the next one!

The 'shotgun' popping was one of the highlights for me. Wish my bike would do that, but on command! (Can't get the 'cut off switch method' to work for some reason!) Enjoyed the two up wheelie by Pegboy (?) on the Blackwall tunnel approach road! The wrong turn incident was also quite funny! Missed the drunk woman bikejack though! Which traffic lights?

Anyway I got it all on video and it turned out quite well surprisingly. I don't have the software or a fast enough computer to pixelate number plates so I was going to share via dropbox but the files are too big 3.66gb (1hr 4m) and 1.6gb (23m). I'm uploading to youtube and if someone can give me a full list of board names who were there I'll send the private links via pm :)

Told you they are drawn to me ...
Every time I go out ...
Even fishing with Spanky!!!!
Nobody on the pier in pouring rain then out of the mist a woman comes up to me talking.
Soon transpires mental!

In the post office I had the woman showing me the paintings she had painted .
She went into a mad rant that the post office had stolen her paintings and made them into greetings cards... Had a real shouting match go at the staff ..
Insisted she had painted Van Gogh's Sunflowers and a Monet!

They find me :(

You have mentioned before, that you are a weirdo magnet!!:D

The drunk was at the lights by Trafalgar Sq, just after Haymarket.
She looked at me, and suggested a ride on the bike, I laughed and told her to f**k off!
Next thing I noticed, she was sitting on Hellcats bike!! Mel was not impressed!!:spin:

I thought she was going to wipe my visor with a bucket of rancid pond water or something.
If I'd have dropped my bike you would of had blood shed on your video :)

Wans't me doing the wheelie, i was on the Black/White S2r solo rider, the bike our talking about is the 1100s

Can you try to send the video to my email.

Many Thanks

Ale

Private messages now sent with links to youtube. I kept it all private as I can't edit out the number plates and apart from any cloning worries I think there was one or 2 people who may have gone an mph or 2 over the speed limit. I'm sure no one ran any lights though. I certainly didn't despite what the video might show, probaly just a glitch in the lense :p

My tyre has again dumped its air!
Haven't been out on it again yet .
So will be having it looked at ... Probably a valve ..
Getting right hacked off.
What with punctures on new tyres :(
Replaced my valve 2 years ago .
Tyre has puncture seal .. Can't see a nail so has to be valve or why prob with valves.
Will get bike in for service and have it looked at.
I'd checked tyre night before and inflated it nowhere near that flat .
So something happened in route :(

Dirty how can you upload such long videos?

Well on the first try youtube stopped me and I had to 'validate' my account to be allowed longer vids. After validating it just uploaded. Took quite a long time though.

Valve probably gummed up with puncture seal
