Being old and crusty I found that although I loved the look of rear sets and clip ons, I just couldn't use them comfortably, so as I no longer carry a passenger I decided to hack the back of the footrest casting, 1. To save weight and 2. Just to make it look better.

However this did present a slight issue as I have high level pipes and kept burning my boots on the exhausts, so I came up with this fix.
