I also have a pair of S4 FRONT FORKS (£85 plus p+p) and a complete set of front yokes (black) for the S4/S4R (these should fit the Monster range as well for anyone thinking of doing a twin disc conversion) £65 plus p+p. Neither of the 2 items above are listed on EBay.

No, don't think you have!
Anyway,Yep, they should fit.
I had a set of 916 Showas on my M900 and the intention was to use these yokes to replace the 916 forks with a set of S4 forks (which are the same diameters) I had lying around (purely because the S4 Showas and yokes were in better condition, and I also had a pair 65 mm calipers doing nothing).
If you can let me know the diameters of the 916 forks (which I believe are 50/54mm), I will check the S4R yokes for sizes

What year is your M900??

Later i.e post 2000/1 bikes use a larger steering tube and bearings and will not fit in the early frame
