S4RS Rear Sprocket Carrier.

Just about to strip out the rear drive on my recently purchased S4RS,just wondering before I start if the big nut that holds on the Sprocket carrier/sprockets a left handed thread ?
Also does anybody have any tips for getting it off and what is the torque setting when I come to re-fit it ??
