Why is it that if you keep the bike in the kitchen over winter .... sooner or later (after a glass of wine).......you just cant resist starting it ...... just to see if it will start .... now the house smells of Castrol R ...... although I swear it has never had such a lubricant near it ... I know the lawnmower has a little dose now and again ......just for old time sake ...... sigh! ....

I don't think the kitchen is as bad as the lounge or dining room though Gerry! The smell lingers in the curtains and furniture for a while then.
And; If you add the type of fuel additive that then needs running until it smokes, to show it has found its way though to the carbs, that smoke stinks. All good fun eh? :D

Castrol R in the lawnmower is an inspired plan......though there is the danger of wandering off the lawn and through the herbaceous border under its trance-inducing influence.
