bars or risers ?

looking for a more relaxed bar position. Has any one fitted different bars or risers to a796
(tapered bars) ? I must be getting old or something!

Rizoma offer three models now - one is close to stock and the two others both have the bars swept back towards the rider and they are higher. This will put you in a more upright position, but more importantly (IMO) allow your shoulders to relax in a lower position.

I'm not in the UK, so I have no idea.

Study Rizoma.com for the best choice (their highest option might create problems with hoses/wires length).
