Not working until 7th so got some time to play first thing to do is fit this Carbon & Titanium gear change which arrived in the post this morning,
http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r94/kato--/GCTi_zps479456de.jpg

But then I got distracted by an idea I had a while back but never did anything about, so it occurred to me that while we spend a lot of time and effort on exhausts and heads in a bid for more power generally not a lot is done on the intake side of things (unless fitting FCR's) however there is not that many options in the injection dept across the 2v range Ducati fitted the same 43mm throttle bodies to pretty much everything from 600 to 1100, so why not take some SBK throttles and make them fit, I have some new heads on the way so will have the opportunity to see what happens on the dyno when the motor is built

I've seen those gear change rods on ebay USA and always liked the look of them :)

Intake mods look interesting to folk with injection Monster, although I will be going down the FCR route when money allows.

Do you know what engine spec the SB bodies are optimal for? I'm thinking of Cosworth turbos that were far too big for the homologation specials they were fitted to, just so the rally team got to play with the ones they wanted?

Kato while you are bored/have time could you do a set of fuel adjustment screws for fcr's (those under the carb) that have thumb screws on them?

Very nice bolts there Rob. Must be costing you both legs now and a lung too. Keep going though

Pricey axle but very nice, not tempted by a TPO 7068 Aluminium one?

So are you going Single Sided Swinger then Rob? I couldn't find a swingarm pivot for any of the older models.

It's looking very interesting with all these fancy parts. So when are we going to see this bike? Is it coming to the weekender?

So did you get your Monos at the bargain price I did? Mine were direct from Aprillia at half the usual price, left over from the factory specials they made!

Not a bad price got them via a friend from Yamaha Italia WSB team I bought some ex Haga forks of them a while back and only just worked out any brakes I already had will not fit, so had to make another groveling call but they came up trumps....
