S2R800 airbox lid, cutting out for K&N

Hi all,
I've bought a K&N air filter for my S2R800 and I'd like to cut out the airbox lid, it's a completely different shape to my old carby airboxes, has anybody got a picture of an airbox lid that's been cut out?

Mine has been cut, but I dont have any pictures of it and its now at the back of the garage.
From memory, the top of the lid has been trimmed around all the way two inches from the base that joins the two parts together, this means the clips still work and the worst of the spray doesnt just slosh directly on the filter.

I might manage to see it tomorrow if you still haven't got pics by then.
