Is there a Heli pad there??

Peg,
You could always get a limo to the Harrods Helicopter Centre on the Thames, then hop over to the 02 Dome, catch the Emirates cable car across the river, then another limo to drive you to Fatboys.

That's what I'd do.

Good idea, but i usually use the Battersea Heli pad??

I could always base jump out of the Emirate cable to fatboys

That's a good point, can't make it Saturday, I have to go on a steam train with my little boy somewhere in Sussex, oh the joy, but for future refrerence, how far is the walk from the cable car to Fatboys when you get off after crossing from the 02. Any ideas?

Scott , if you were to follow the road exactly it would be about 1.2 miles.

I'll try and make it, might have the kids in with me thou.

from the cable car you would need to get the DLR two stops West from Royal Victoria to East India and walk down to Fatboys... or get the cable car back to Greenwich and get a ferry across to Trinity Buoy Wharf

Unfortunately I think the ferry from the O2 to Trinity Buoy Wharf is now a crew boat or can be requested by TBW residents for a small fee. It isn't a public service.

I'll be there, on my bike. Providing I don't get stranded in Exmouth on Friday thanks to underwater trainlines.

I'm having an ankle op today, so I won't be going anywhere for a while, helicopter or no helicopter.

I know, I know, I'd never make it in MotoGP.

Well bike runs sweet so will pop in. Mind you is it illegal to ride with frozen dash? All I see on it is ice.

I have a scoot too, if I ever have to get rid of my bikes and come down to only
One two wheeler , it would be the scoot I would keep. Suzuki Burgman 400, twelve years old now, 100 MPH, something like 70 to the gallon, handles, keeps you dry, I would never dream of going into town on my monster when that is sitting there, it is untouchable in traffic.

Nice to see everyone. Was even more frozen riding home, but always worth it for the banter.

Till the next one in the new year I guess! :-)

Always good to see everyone, especially solomoto as first timer and 'saint', who's been on the forum forever but never made it to brunch before.

Sad to say, but I have missed it, again. Been too busy looking after my bike then coming round...
Damn these working days and recent servicing weekends. Next meet up is a definite for me...
Phone reminders are set :)
