Well I was lucky enough to be one of the 100 who's photo was used and I got my Key Ring and Umbrella

I also Spotted Rally - JP (who you can see on the photo) And Albie

It was lovely to see 20 years of the monster

I can honestly say - Buying a Ducati Monster 10 years ago - Joining this club has changed my life! I had a very emotional moment looking at the old Ducati monsters realising how much buying a Ducati monster changed my life. My job. My friends. My holidays. My hobbies. My travels. My life. Just because I bought a Ducati monster 10 years ago and met some truly inspiring people who I can call my closest friends.

Yes - ALL of the bikes were lovely (and they said one of them is for sale - not sure which one)

Glad you liked it! It was quite a task trying to find close to standard bikes, the generosity of club members (as ever) was immense.

The S4R is for sale at Ducati Manchester.

I seem to have been lucky to have appeared and Rally kindly picked a brolly for me. I also see that Carolines which I asked her to send in has appeared but we recieved no letter in post to be able to picke up a prize with. I wonder where that letter went as must be why also not recieved the keyfob for entering. I wonder if someone chavved it as they come in Ducati branded envelopes ????

I wish I could have gone but I have to go to work. Well done Ducati UK and UKMOC etc for showing great bikes and pics to the UK

Mate,
I have your brolly and a key ring for Caroline as well. They wouldn't let me have a 2nd brolly without the letter though. A great display and day out.

Hey I appreciate the effort you made. At the end of the day its a £5 brolly so no big deal. The big deal is I never got the letter to pass on. Maybe el presidente can persuede them its genuine. Why would I lie about it. Maybe Mr Maccabee can sort me as I send him a calendar gratis.

No worries.:mand::mand:

The older bikes on show go up to 2008 anything newer than that is pretty much the same as the current models which are on display there also

I went to the NEC today, the ducati stands were excellent, the 20th anniverary tribute impressive.

The rest of the show was depressingly poor, I was in and out in an hour and half. Its the last time for me

I went today and enjoyed it.

The Ducati stand was impressive, as was the BMW stand.
I cocked my leg over the new Hypermotard and cracked my knee on the rear seat cowl. I was nowhere near as impressed with it as with the old 1100 HYM. The style and riding position were not as good, and I couldnt live with that evil seat cowl!

The KTMs and Husqvarnas were great though :hail:

Familiar...but kinda distant.
Is this a flashback ?

Absolutely.
Similarly, I was quite a fan of the bikes that "Free More Cycles" used to make, though I'm not sure that they're still in business.
My Norton Commando is destined to become something along those lines......eventually.
