monster oil filter leaks

hi folks, does anyone know if its a common thing for ducati filters to seap a little leaving a drop of oil hanging on the bottom of the filter ? its not serious, just a drop now and again, look forward to your replies.

Mine did for a bit when I did my last oil change. I found that it had to be tightened right up to stop it. And make sure that when the filter is installed to smear a drop of oil around the seal

kriss. mine did the same took mine back 3 times for it , excuse was the had a batch of fillters that where wrong every thing iok now. if still under warranty take it in.

hi dunc, had a couple of offers but they wanted me to do a deal without the goodies then you have the job of getting shut of them. anyway decided to keep, was me feeling sorry for myself, was suffering with a lot of pain in my right shoulder which spread down my right arm which lasted for about 6 weeks so was unable to do nothing. specialist says its my age, cheeky sod, worn joints she says. anyway its now cleared up (i hope) so im back to my normal or some would say abnormal self so im keeping my pride and joy, well one of them, speak to you soon, have a nice xmas and happy new year, kriss.
