So its only the 5th November almost two full months untill the dreaded Xmas day and already I've had more than I can take of tinsell and rudolf:banghead:.......So have just rented a nice house in the sunshine:idea: in a nice muslim city where hopefully no one has ever heard of Santa F/ing Claus.:mad:

Anyone else getting out of the UK for some sanity?

Plenty of alcohol, my friend. It's quite easy and legal in most Muslim countries for non-muslims to buy alcohol. Even in Saudi Arabia, where it's completely forbidden, you can easily get alcohol. Just need to know the right people (easy to find) or just go to your local Embassy night.

Many expats will tell you they've had some of their most memorable ****-ups in Saudi. Also tend to meet really interesting people at the same time.

Although, Kato, not to dampen your spirit (excuse the pun) but tinsel has definitely hit the shops out here.
