Been out on the M750, well not me but the better half (it's her bike!), and she asked if the clutch could be made lighter? I've read that it can, but I can't remember what you get off what to achieve it?

Help?

What year is it?? And does it have an external clutch slave?
If it does you can but an Oberon clutch slave which will help.

However I have two clutch springs removed opposite each other and adjustable levers.
The removal of 2 clutch springs made the clutch a dream!
And no it does not make it slip :)

Compared to the Oberon on my other bike the clutch spring mod makes the clutch lighter then replacing standard slave with an Oberon .

I have Tiny hands and a small span .
Also arthritis I thought I may have to quit riding.
But taking two opposite springs out is cheap and brilliant :)

Consider the master/slave ratio

Assuming it's a dry clutch and money's no object, fit a 28mm slave cylinder and if funds allow, a 48 tooth clutch basket and plates (I did)

It's a late model 750 so plenty of people making uprated clutch slave cylinders, most will give around 20% reduction in required lever pressure in exchange for a bit more lever travel

a couple below or search ebay for "ducati clutch slave"

I've got the MPL slave on my 900ie - makes a huge difference to lever effort

I removed two opposite springs, standard slave on a 900SS? Good feel, no slip ever with hi-comps & a pillion! :)
